We depend on contributions to keep our cause alive. Our volunteers are fabulous, fun, and free!
A great opportunity to meet and work with some of the area’s most creative artists, educators, parents, kids, friends, and “green” thumbs, volunteering at The I.D.E.A. Store is a great way to get involved in making the most of what we have. We provide a safe, open, and exciting work environment full of new challenges and receptive to new ideas. Whatever your specialty is, we’d love to incorporate it into our mission. And since all profits from The I.D.E.A. Store go directly to help the Champaign Urbana Schools Foundation, donating your human resources directly benefits the people we directly serve, the environment, and kids across the area.
Volunteer as much or as little as you’d like, and lend your individual talents to The I.D.E.A. Store in a huge number of ways. We are always in need of outgoing, caring individuals interested in:
Taking or Sorting Donations/Stocking our shelves with the latest finds
Being a Store Guide or Party/Education Assistant
Working as a Cashier, helping make Signs, cutting billboard discards
Anything else! Everyone has something to contribute – let us help you help us!
